Max is a mathematical prodigy who was first published at 16 and had a PhD. by the time he was twenty. While studying number theory at Columbia University, he began trying to find patterns in the stock market, his sole occupation and obsession for the past ten years. During the course of this work, he has come across a 216 digit number that just may be the secret name of God and the key to the global economy. Obviously, people would like to know what it is and have begun to pursue him. These people aren’t very nice. On top of all that, he suffers from intense, incurable migraines and is more than likely going insane, if he is not insane already. He is thirty, losing his hair and Jewish, although he doesn’t practice.
